interwhirling

We are made in the image of the God whose image we are making.

This is what the Buddhists call dependent co-arising.

With everything mutually, dependently co-arising, we are bigger than the little pinpoint we make of ourselves. We are as large as the Cosmos. Our awareness continues expanding to real - eyes this.

  1. In his sermon Sunday our pastor told this story.
While riding home from church a little girl asked her mother, "Mama, is it really true that God is bigger than everything?" Her Mom assured her that it was true.
Then the child asked, "Mama, is it really true that God lives inside of us?"
Again, her Mom assured her this was true.
After thinking about it awhile, the child said, "if all that's true, then He should show out of us."

  2. I love your first line, George. "We are made in the image of the God whose image we are making."

I wish more people realized that.
