unbuckle your seat belts, we are in for a ride!

We are moving into, are already in the beginning of a new era, the Era of Synthronicity, where every one and every thing are sitting on each other's lap simultaneously.

The old way, the Era of Materialism, has already blown apart. Both communism and capitalism, its two major ideologies or operating systems, have failed. The globalization that is occurring via communication is transcending those dinosauric power bases.

The old way is dying, is unsustainable.

We are moving into an era maximized by fluid grace, where all interacts with all. The rigid and the domineering will not make it. We are becoming synthronous, where we all (human and non-human, all life forms) are sitting on each other's laps simultaneously.

We have never faced this before. There is no map, only the journey. So center within your breathing and your open heart, unbuckle your seat belt, and don't hang on. Transformation is here!

the synthronizing of spirit and matter (part 6)

God is a circle with no circumference whose center is everywhere. And each of us is that center. Our center is a center of the universe of existence. Our center and our Source's center are the same center. This is synthronicity.

the synthronization of spirit and matter (part 5)

Pantheism says that the Source is in all thiings and forgets to add that all things are in the Source. Pantheism emphasizes the manifest and forgets the transcendent.

Panentheism says both the manifest and transcendent occur simultaneously. We are the Source manifesting in and as these formings, wave-ings of a Vast Ocean that knows no bounds. The Ocean is us but we are not the Ocean.

Panentheism points to the synthronization of spirit and matter.

the synthronizing of spirit and matter (part 4)

We are a stand point, a point of view which is being birthed by the Immensity which it views. The Immensity is the Truth, the Reality which we view, and yet when we view It from our stand, from our point, our view is a truth. We are a blind person describing the elephant's tail while another equally blind person holds and describes an ear. Both speak the truth, but neither speaks the Truth. This does not mean we have to remain stuck in anything-goes-land, where truth is whatever anyone describes. We can know the Truth, "and the Truth will set us free." We can open, through the grace of the Immensity that continues birthing us, to Its wholeness that knows no bounds. In the synthronizing of spirit and matter, we know simultaneously the truth and the Truth, the relative and the Absolute.

the synthronizing of spirit and matter (part 3)

"What do you seek?" asks Jesus, the first words he utters in the Book of John (the Eagle). "We want to know where you live," respond the two disciples.

Be careful what you ask for. Are you sure you want the consciousness of a holy one? Wouldn't you rather be a tight little, snugly self-contained Walmart shopper and fulfiller of the American Dream? Wouldn't you rather just go on as you have been, getting your orgasms in small doses? Are you sure you are ready to open to life with loud and joyous cries of ecstasy?

"Absolute extinction in the void!" exclaim the Taoist and Zen dudes and dudesses when queried by sincere seekers. "Hunh-uhn! No way!" many say, and jump over the monk-y wall to the pleasures of the town.

Are you sure you want to live where God lives? "God is a circle with no circumference whose center is everywhere," say the early theo-philosophers. A void, a very fertile void. Don't you want to keep wearing your circumferential girdle?

Can you live without your precious persona, the one you have so carefully assembled over the years, your character-ological disorder, the face you present to the world, the story you have told yourself so long? Better just hunker down and keep living in the world of appearance.

Hafiz, that wild man Sufi poet, begs to differ. He says come on in, the water's fine. He says "God and I have become like two giant fat people living in a tiny boat. We keep bumping into each other and laughing."

God, you, the boat, all disappear. Only the laughter remains.

response to MCB's comment on "the synthronizing of spirit and matter (part 2) "

MCB, your description of sitting where Buddha sat and the resultant merge is good strong imagery (and experience) of what I am labelling synthronicity. The experiential body that we are is vast and readily merges with, and already is, the energetic realm of the Buddha and of Christ. When without reflection, without continuing to tell ourselves the same old stories of who we are, thus hypnotizing ourselves into particles, when pure consciousness, we are one without an other. We leave the world of duality (which is a consciousness state) and open to the realm of the nondual.

Not two! Not two! the monks of old would assert. Not two and not even one, since "one" is already a separation. When we realize this (have real eyes), misery and fear and doubt fall away. We live in and as eternity. When that song "What if God were one of us" was popular a few years ago, I laughed. A lovely song, but it had not gone quite far enough. What if God were all of us?

I know you know all this, but I'm one of those verbal guys and like to marvel at our situation. I appreciate our friendship and the inspiration of your existing. Love to and with you (as I know it is), Bubba!

the synthronizing of spirit and matter (part 2)

Synthronicity is a word that appeared as I sat quietly in the early morning hours. Having not heard of it before, I pondered its meaning.

I knew syn-chron-icity meant occupying the same time (chronos), occurring simultaneously. Syn-thron-icity means sitting on the same seat (throne) occupying the same space simultaneously. I caught the image of the Source, of God sitting on my lap as I sat upon its/his lap. Musical chairs with only one chair and at such a high rate of speed of exchange that both participants are winners. It struck me as quite humorous and still does.

The synthronicity or synthronizing of spirit and matter means that spirit and matter occupy the same space. In effect and in truth, they are one. Matter is dense spirit (life force); spirit is light matter. Two "ends" of a spectrum, and guess who is in the middle? That would be you. You are the musical chair upon which spirit and matter synthronously, reverberatingly, entertainingly sit. You are a holy trinity. You three are one.

the synthronizing of spirit and matter (part 1)

At the end of this dark age, when we consider matter to be all that exists and behavior to be the only meaningful aspect of the human psyche, we begin our swing back toward sanity. The reign of quantity is ending and openness to quality beginning.

The devolving dark age was based upon division and separation: mind from body, me from you, us from them; and upon denial: no spirit, no soul, no God, and certainly no contact with our Source. Science became not just a tool for understanding, but a religion, scientism. Greed became the order of the day, "progress" became our death chant. All earth and its inhabitants were seen as a storehouse for plunder, existing for one purpose only, to fuel and fill the insatiable maw of Man.

We are nearing the end of this pendulum swing, not because humankind wants to. We would like to suckle at the breast forever, gulping down our Mother's nutrition until we suckle a milkless corpse. Leeches. Parasites.

No, not because we want to, but because we are forced. I refer not just to the explosion of human population and the ever-dwindling resources. We are at the end of an Age. According to our seers, we are at the end, once again, of a Time. Our Time is up.

A brief pause will occur, the same pause as at the end of an outbreath, and then an inbreathing will occur. We will return to sanity, wondering how we could have been so insane. We are on the verge of a new Time, the time of synthronization of spirit and matter.
