The things that arouse my interest seem to produce a kind of stupor in others. When I speak of such matters, eyes tend to glaze. So I mostly keep silence.
Perhaps everyone already knows these things and the book in which they are contained has been firmly shut and put away. Perhaps I am a mutant darkling slow on the uptake and all other humans out of pity and kindness let me yap but their minds go elsewhere to more important matters yet unsolved.
Fortunately there are a few others as retarded and slow as me. When we meet, we talk about these things: the evolution of consciousness, the origin's unfolding, the sickness and the healing of humankind.

This is how it feels to be a "voice crying(talking)in the wilderness"...eyes that glaze and drift away. That reminds me of another phrase, "pearls before swine" except that there are no swine, just folks who have different agendas. I understand the attraction of the busy-ness of life and feel the pull to us, less often. Thanks for the meditation, George. Love & blessings, Eve
