paradigms, eras, and aeons
Sometimes I catch a glimpse of a larger flow than the surface world. I see in aeons rather than in clock minutes. I see paradigmatic shifts, each era in an aeon giving way to another. I see us emerging out of the Matter paradigm of technological enlightenment where nothing matters but matter. Just as we cannot be ruled by a Theocracy, neither can we be ruled by the Material and its accompanying religion and dogma, Science, with its high priests. What's coming next? What era are we entering now? What shall we co-create? What set of beliefs shall we now adopt? What vision, what view is now emerging?

(The watchtower org in New York,?) anyway...my dad likes to put fear i me by saying...LOL...the end of the world is here. and when they wipe out religion your doomed he tells me. LOL okay i say...so be it!...I'll call you next year daddy...love you and take care.

I'm not sure what view will emerge, except that it will include "love", and heck that may be wrong in the end. My view is always changing and one thing I found interesting in my readings on the evolution of consciousness is that wherever one is on the continuum of conscious evolution, one recognizes the consciousness levels on the continuum prior to one's own consciousness level, but does not recognize the consciousness levels after one's current level.
ReplyDeleteIn a nutshell, I can't wait to evolve to the next level, whatever that may be. A wonderful ongoing process. Littlegeezer
And is this Time REALLY different than all other times that have gone before? Or is this our own ego-driven desire to believe we are special to be at some special point?
ReplyDeleteIf you suspect it is an ego-driven desire, then for you that is what it is. Be bold! Make a statement instead of hiding behind a question. Your statement would then be -- This time is not REALLY different than all other times that have gone before; this is our own ego-driven desire to believe we are special to be at some special point.
ReplyDeleteAnd if you do not put credibility to that statement, the question itself is meaningless.
If you do put credibility to that statement, then you seem to be saying that the belief that each of us is special and is (always) at some special point is an ego-driven illusion. Well then, so be it. Count me illuded. I see us all as the cutting edge of an evolving unfolding universe. It gets tricky here. If the ego buys into it, it inflates, thus eliminating the cutting edge. Ego, no edge. No ego, edge.
Alas, another eon (or something) passes - - happy birthday old geezer
ReplyDeleteNothing is known for certain. The only entity that knows how this will turn out is the Source and since it is pure energy, it is not too concerned with any outcome. All paths lead to God eventually.
ReplyDeleteWhat is certain is that we are eating and breeding ourselves into trouble. The seas are fished out. The tropical forests are disappearing. Each generation will be poorer than the previous generation as natural resources are depleted unless we become wiser. The alternative is that the consequences of our current actions or inactions, as the case may be, will cause a cascade of famine, disease, and war that will reduce the human problem to something Nature can tolerate. These themes have been seen before, just not on a global scale. So, nothing has changed with Man except that his tools and weapons are mightier. We are still stuck in our old psychology for the most part with the exception of a few here and there.
Love my source! Life is good. WALL•E
