Since it is Friday, anything I post will be generally ignored.
The mindset of humans, who for generations now have been co-opted into "industry" as the fodder upon which it feeds, has been contorted into work-related beliefs regarding “Monday” as bad and “Friday” as delightful.
On Fridays, the POW’s (Prisoners of Work) get giddy in excitement because they will finally have some days they can call their own and do not have to follow the routine of the cellblock. This excited mind allows no thoughtful understanding of ANYTHING.
A good teacher knows to say nothing of any import immediately before the kids go out to recess.
Happy work release, you POW’s!
For those of us who have served our prison terms, "Friday" has a different special meaning -- the quiet town will now be flooded with those released from "industry."
