poverty, chastity, obedience

The three age old mainstays of one on a spiritual path.
What do these mean?

Poverty -- No clinging.
No clinging to the favorite thumb you like to suck.

Chastity -- Love, pure and simple.
No hidden agenda flies in your Kama Sutra oil.

Obedience -- Acting with unclinging love.
Moving in harmony with the Harmony.

With the first, we let go.
With the second, we open up.
With the third, we get with it.

  1. Thanks, George, for putting these 3 concepts in a different context than I'm used to. Puts Jesu's parable about the rich man, the camel, and the eye of the needle in a new light, too. Steve

  2. Love is not self-seeking. Love is blind.
