"When you got nothing, you got nothing to lose" -- Bob Dylan
Now I'm not looking to go on a rant here though there is good ground these days to stand on and pontificate with gusto. I set up a soap box at a university once. Got up on it and ranted away. Drew quite a crowd. Vietnam war, ecology and all that. Tethered the box to a tree with a string thinking that the university needed a free speech area. Grounds and maintenance took it away the next day. Nope. Ranting gives only temporary relief.
And relief is what folk are looking for today. Last year we were looking for hope. This year relief.
You ever had a tooth-ache, an ear-ache, a stomach-ache, or a heart-ache? When you are in it, though you might be on the way to relief, you just can't see relief anywhere. Somebody tells you to buck up and you think they don't know, they just don't know how you are CONSUMED.
Suffering puts everything on its front burner. All else pales. No need for it to even turn the setting to High; its most diabolical form is Simmer with occasional unpredictable bursts of Boil. And still we have to get up and face the day and do the necessaries.
Where do we draw our strength? We can run on fear and anger for a while but that's high octane stuff and eco-psycho-logically unfriendly. Nope. We have to reach down deep. Everything that is not our core has to be placed on the altar. Some of our ancestors used to fight naked. Job got up out of the ashes with nothing but a loin cloth.
Naked we came into this world and naked we shall leave. Might as well be naked in the in-between. Fight away at the injustice and the unfairness and the hypocrisy. But fight naked. We suffer a lot less that way. We have already won.

George, the Source gave us clothing made of the purest white fiber Nature can make, DNA. Our clothing is self repairing, grows or shrinks to fit our environment, and wears out gradually. We still are learning how to take care of our clothes and the clothing experts (M.D.s) are not very knowledgeable at times. There are no name brands and the clothes only come in three main colors with slight variations. Most of us mistake our clothes for ourselves, especially the CPU part of the suit. Sure, the suit lets one know when there's something wrong, but we forget and take our clothes for granted when it worked just right. So, when someone tells you that they are going to Heaven soon and getting cloth of the purest white, kindly tell them that they are already there and that's what they are already wearing.
ReplyDeleteDeath is like going home after school or play, for rest and refreshment in Heaven Unmanifest. We return from that Heaven to this manifested Heaven with a new uniform or suit, but the Essence or Consciousness is the same.
