etchings on the faceless tomb

We all want story. We must have story. Without story we will die, should die, must die. Main characters in the unfolding saga of ourselves. Bit parts in other's tellings of their tale. Give me story or give me death. Lord, let us leave some impression etched upon this faceless tomb. Could we have a few words here, just a few words? With a subject (that'd be me) and a verb (me again in action) and an object (of course me). The object of my story and my words: to put me in order. To orderly arrange me. To put me in my place. To resurrect me once again in some form. In the beginning was the word and the word was with god and the word was god and the evening and the morning were the freshest newest day. Wake up! Wake up! Time for your story!

  1. "In the beginning was the story..." It is our story--a humble dew-drop's reflection of the great Logos.

We are infused throughout by the Logos--the Word--and naturally resonate this (respond to the Word's call) through story, by our very nature.

Through story, we instinctively pay homage to the Logos. As tenuously-clinging condensates, words are forever birthed through us from the Word. Like the smoke of fragrant incense on an alter, stories arise through us from the One--to journey back to the heavens.

Dew drops... The story cycle... And this: yet another story...

  2. Twaddle! Twaddle! All our stories are twaddle! Rip them apart! Toss them away! Stand naked!

  4. Well I like the twaddle that all our stories are twaddle is a story. And I know you will like the story that all our stories are twaddle is a story is twaddle. So together we are yinyangers or yangyiners, whichever does not come first. Stop winking at me, you bonehead! Come over here and let's have a beer (or the beverage of your choice).

  5. Now, how can I resist sharing a sitting and a beverage with a fellow storyteller (or twaddle-teller)?

    Am (always) on my way...
