free range rooster

Whatever system of philosophy, theology, or metaphysics in which I ensconce myself, or which swallows me in its maw, I must endeavor to be spewed from its mouth as was Jonah from the whale. Otherwise I will die in a coffin of my own making.

As Nietzsche put it: "I am not bigoted enough for a system--not even for my system."

One does not resolve the problems inherent in a particular thought structure, nor does one become an apologist for it, trying to winch it and wrench it into a more fitting form, striving to overcome its limitations. One abandons it and moves on, opening to a higher, wider, deeper consciousness; a consciousness that cannot be contained.
