awake and aware

The point is not to be a follower of Christ, but to be a Christ. This means to not rest with who you think you are, to not accept the portrait painted of you by your peers, your grandpeers, or your subpeers, to not fall into that happily painful delusion; nor to accept the portrait you paint of yourself using conventionally acceptable standards of form and shade and light of composition, but to leap out, transform, be born as a blazing center of this universe which calls us into being -- an irruption from within. One is turned in side out. All one sees is the Self, the Great Self, our Source and Manifestation. This is the unfolding, the unpacking, the blossoming of the old archaic Christianity, the Christianity we have outlived. This is our evolutionary responsibility, the unfolding of multitudes of individual Christs, awake and aware of infinity and eternity as our daily home.
