the soul survivor

The soul has fallen into disrepute in our modish post-modern world. All slick and sheen, we say we do not need that extra baggage. We have shaved with Occam's razor and have no such hairy extrusions. Bald runners through the night, busily converting matter into waste for our pleasure and just because we can do it. No soul please. None of that ephemeral ghosty stuff. That is for our superstitious ancestors. We are surgical steel squeaky clean.

I laugh. We cannot find soul because it is soul doing the looking.

  1. Scientists looking for Consciousness have the same issue. What does having a soul mean? Having a soul implies separation from the Source. In truth, there is no separation. Everything is the Source experiencing itself in a myriad of forms.

  2. HAVING a soul is so very different from BEING soul. As soon as we open our mouths to talk about IT, we create separation. Whatever we say is not THE truth. So I will shut up (at least for a while).

  4. By feeling do you mean the kinesthetic sensing of the body? Do you mean the emotions that pour through?

  5. I think I mean the what we feel in spite of our emotions. When we are spoken to but we don't have to actually hear it.

  6. Lisa, I know you got soul! And you ARE soul! Sounds like you are pointing to the central core, the place of capacity, of silence, of the immovable mover, of the abiding "place" of the soul. Yes, Truth comes through here. "For you shall KNOW the truth, and the truth shall make you free."

Another way to say it is heart. The heartbrain is measurably 40 times more powerful in radiant energy than the headbrain. As soul, we think in and through our hearts.

  7. Yes, I like that HEART. I heard someone say sometime that the longest journey is from your head (emotions and such) to your Heart. Now I think I know better what he meant. Now I think there is another journey to make... From Heart back to everywhere:) Radiance!!!!

    Love to you George!
