Consider nested spheres -- a sphere within a sphere within a sphere, etc. Consider that there are five nested spheres. Each sphere has/is a content. Each sphere has a permeable membrane.
The innermost sphere is the realm of the physical senses. This is the world of ordinary reality. Some of us claim it is the only reality. Let us call it the realm of human affairs.
The second sphere, which contains the innermost sphere, is the realm of the imagination. All humans have thoughts and fantasies and images almost all the time. The realm of human affairs is contained within the realm of the imagination.
The third sphere is the realm of archetypes, of energetic forces. When viewed from the realm of human affairs, it is sometimes seen as belonging to the realm of the imagination. Not so. Humans draw power from here. We embody all these forces and have the power to choose which is our Guiding Master. In this sense, the realm of archetypes is the realm of possibility.
The fourth sphere is the realm of Lordship. This is where the Mystery is aware. Some call this the realm of the self-aware and self-organizing universe. I prefer to make it more personal.
Because it is. The realm of Lordship contains the above three spheres. This is the realm of God.
The fifth sphere is the realm of the Absolute, the realm of the Essence, that which gives birth to all, including Its own self-awareness. This is the realm of the Godhead, of the Wellspring, of the Source, of Silence. Beyond all name.
The nesting also goes the other way. We "contain" all the spheres. Deep inside us, at our core, is the Source Itself.
As we continue to know this, we are forever coming home.

1 John 4:12-13
ReplyDelete12 No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us.
13 Hereby know we that we dwell in him, and he in us, because he hath given us of his Spirit.

Yes! Thanks, Ginny.
