From top and around clockwise -- Pagan Pentagram;Buddhist Prayer Wheel;Jewish Star of David;Hindu Om;Unitarian Chalice;Taoist Yin Yang;Christian Cross;Muslim Crescent Moon and Star.
you'll see the watchtower symbol at the top. once in awhile...I'll go there and see what they are still chatting about...today its looks like the same.
spying* funny!...i just wonder if they still thinking the same thinking mentality...nothing seems to change there. My dad told me the last time i talked with him on phone that the "End of the world" ...would be here in a year...i said Wow! you have a math wiz in your headquarters there in New York! he said...no God Jehovah is the math wiz. I said O...well so be it!
you said: "The Bible has a number of watchtower references. I wonder if they are referring to one particular verse." I have no idea on that...maybe so.
Thanks for praying George Breed...I pray too. (((Hugs)))
just curious about this Coexistence poster circle clock. Does anyone know who created it? just wondering why they put the pagan star at 12:00 and the star of david at 3:00 oclock? i don't think it was just a random doing...?
Kathy, that's a pretty cool question about the arrangement of the symbols. I take a look at the symbols opposite each other and their forming of couplets -- christian and jewish, pagan and unitarian, taoist and buddhist, muslim and hindu. I am not looking to make anything of this (though if I were an academician I might write a long and boring treatise on the subject and perhaps publish it in a peer-reviewed journal) but am simply noticing the mind's tendency to create order out of disorder -- to let nothing rest until it has been thoroughly sifted and brought into the fine dust of composure.
yes i saw that too. I have a problem i know...i seem to read into things that are not important...i hang on to 'it/things' like it means something. i keep telling myself it ain't important. but i did find it all very interesting :) i took a peek at the lighthouse where the picture came from...interesting stuff in there too. There's so much i don't know George Breed.
was doing some research on the star of David and ran into the red star of David and found the "International Committee of the Red Cross" neat stuff! :) looks like they are one now? since 2006.

Many of us carry wounds from our birth religion and church. I pray for all our healing, including those who inflicted the wounds, perhaps unknowingly.
