all humans are loopy

As rational beings, we believe only what we see.
And yet it is also true that we can see only what we believe.
Now what?

Folk in the Newtonian paradigm or way of seeing
could not see the Einsteinian view and thus derided it.
Those who thought the earth is the center of the universe
considered the Copernican view as ridiculous.

Some presbyterians think some baptists are way off base.
Both see islam and buddhism as a realm of fools. And so on.

Your cherished notions are someone else's peculiarities.
But of course they are wrong.

We see only what we believe and we believe only what we see.
Each swears to the truth and cannot see the truth of another.

So what do we do? We are all blind fools.

Look out. There might be room for some patience
and some understanding here.
Don't make me say the dreaded word!
There might be room for love.
[Warning -- NPFH -- Not a path for the faint-hearted]

Is there a higher wider deeper reality than the one I see?
The very question makes me laugh.

And let us not forget, conflict itself is a form of relationship.
Among the seven heavens, it is the closest to hell.
